Engaged by the THR1VE board of directors to create a visually engaging, immersive and efficient self-ordering platform for THR1VE retail locations, with potential to license the technology to the multi-unit QSR and fast casual operators.
I was challenged to bring the menu to life, celebrating the colour, texture and diversity of the all natural ingredients, while not losing customers in what can be a complex set of choices, requiring extremely efficient ordering processes, upsell and cross-sell selections, and speed to check out. Within one week of launch, average transaction value had increased by 13%, and total store labour had declined by 5%, with customers reporting they preferred the self-empowering and self-directed process of ordering via the kiosk over a traditional human POS operator.
